So much is revealed in the tilt of a head, a reflective gaze, the unique and personal gestures of our friends and loved ones. For me it is a journey exploring a face, like having an extended conversation with the individual and the universal human experience. It is interesting to me to find the right note in color to set off the age and personality of my subjects revealed in the process. It is a form of tribute.
